Spiritual Direction is an opportunity to be challenged to gaze upon the face of God and to bring our faith story there in prayer. It is here that we are directed. Are you willing to do this for yourself and to help others do it for themselves? If yes, this program is for you!

The Mission of this Spiritual Direction Training Program:

to form and equip persons to be faithful in their spiritual walk
to become true companions to others as they journey and live out their relationship with God
to better discern together the movements of the Spirit

Spiritual Direction Training Program

Now offering two (2) programs of Spiritual Direction

Program A - Our Weekly Program
Program B - Our Monthly Program

Every year one of these options will begin.

Program Details

Both programs, A and B, consist of:

Four Semesters - consisting of 20 formal class hours
Internship - following first semester
Individual Supervision
Peer Supervision
Retreat Experience
Certificate - upon completion of all requirements

It is expected that each student have his/her own Spiritual Director. Students in need of such may choose from a listing of directors provided by the House of Prayer. As Spiritual Direction is a professional ministry compensation to drectors is required. Suggested donation for Spiritual Direction services ranges from $20 - $50 per session.

Maximum program size of 15 participants.

$400.00 per semester - two (2) semesters per year
Payments are due on the first date of each semester.

$100.00 Book Fees per semester (approximately)

Certification

Upon successful completion of each program, participants will recieve Certification from: Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

CSU is an institute of higher learning sponsered by the Sisters of Saint Francis of Assisi who also sponsor the San Daminao House of Prayer, Lowell, MA. CEU's available upon request.
